abuot...if you need help with nihonggo maybe i can offer some...i lived in Japan for a few years and i can tell you some stuff ...especially about culture....etc...it is important to learn the culture also when you want to learn the language...it will make you understand the reason why it is what it is...for example the japanese language has different levels of "politeness" ...you use familiar speech for friends and those younger than you, polite for usual conversation, and honorific form for people of higher standing than you...if you do not know these then you may use the wrong "level" and still not come out correct even if you are speaking right...*scratches head*...ngeee ok ba ako explanation...mora nata-as man ug ayo![]()
yes Gwynhuever is right when he say there different level of politeness.
Check the site i posted and check out lesson 60-66. It deals with keigo, tennengo and some other stuff. Culture is also disscuss.
sakto jud ka,gwyn.naa naman koy basic ideas about Japanese culture nakuha nako through Japanese movies and books.fascinated man jud kaayo ko sa ila culture.ang reason nga naay level ilang poiliteness is because pud sa ilang social classes sa unang panahon(samurai-farmer-artisans-merchants)..Originally Posted by Gwynhuever
