    I don't see anything wrong with PNoy buying a Porsche with his own money. It's his right to do what he want with his money. The problem is the timing. It seems insensitive man gud considering the price,toll, fare and oil hike. Kung private person lang siya, it would be inconsequential, pero he holds the highest position in the land and the responsibility that comes with it.

    This thing would have been overlooked had his administration has concrete achievements to show for but sadly that's not the case.

    Section 1. Title. - This Act shall be known as the "Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.

    Section 2. Declaration of Policies. - It is the policy of the State to promote a high standard of ethics in public service. Public officials and employees shall at all times be accountable to the people and shall discharge their duties with utmost responsibility, integrity, competence, and loyalty, act with patriotism and justice, lead modest lives, and uphold public interest over personal interest.

    Section 4

    (h). Public officials and employees and their families shall lead modest and simple lives appropriate to their positions and income. They shall not indulge in extravagant or ostentatious display of wealth in any form.

    if PNoy was a balot vendor before he became president, him buying a Porsche would really be questionable.

    kay abi president na xa magpaka pobre nalang xa maskin gkan jd sya ug datu nga angkan? he's being a role model man gani, bought a 'third-hand used' porsche, but using his own money...unlike other officials buying, and using(including personal use) brand new luxury vehicles using people's taxes...
