rivermaya was better with perf de castro around. he gave them an edge in the guitars department.
this is how i compare the original rivermaya and the original e-heads.
vocals - rivermaya. reason: bamboo is good live and in recording. ely is good only in recording. his live voice is horrible.
keyboards - rivermaya. rico blanco is a well schooled pianist. e-heads have no legitimate keyboard player.
guitars- rivermaya. reason: perf de castro. who else?
bass and drums - i consider both bands tied at these two departments
compositions - as to quality, rivermaya. as to quantity, e-heads. still i go for rivermaya.
arrangement - rivermaya. due to rico blanco's musical genius
live performances - rivermaya. bamboo is a really good frontman.
winner: rivermaya

ang problema ni bamboo kai nadaot sa drugas...well si ely wla gyud pero masakiton sa heart... eheads lang ghapon oi kai sila gyud first asian choice sa mtv... look
