the first full novel i read was clear and present danger. i think i was 9 during that time, barely understood most of it.i was used to reading hardy boys at that age. i re-read the book when i was around 13 or 14 (followed the jack ryan series heh)
sa HS, i was hook with pinoi love stories. kanang mga pocket books bah. lolx. uwaw kaau!.
then the first NOVEL i'd read was The Sphere by MICHAEL CRHICHTON.
mao to ako nadawat sa jingjing gift sa x-mas party sa 4th yr.
sugod ato... sunod, sunod na daun mga foreign NOVELS.
it wasn't actually a book but a digest mag...readers digest 1984 something issue...
and the first book i read was "Lennon" when i was about 8 years old.it was a book stolen by my uncle in the university library...ahehehehehe

The Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah was my first fave novel.. or mao bah? basta k2 europe na harry potter book ako nabasa pag grade 1 nko.. pero murag wa ilhi pa ato na time.. nisikat xa kay hyskul nako pag gawas sa movie...

mga hardy boys novels during my elementary years
The very first book I ever tried to read cover to cover was Michener's "The Source", but since I was just 7 years old then, you can imagine why I never really got past the first pageEventually, when I turned 8, my mom bought me my very first Hardy Boys book. It was book number 1 of the classic hardbound series--"The Tower Treasure"--and this one I read (and enjoyed) from cover to cover.

But the 1st set of books i read was the groilers childrens book encyclopedia..(the i wonder why books man cguro tawag ato, basta i still remember the illustrations, the book covers...)

OT: We used to live in manalili street... sa upper floor sa among tindahan b4. Thats why nalukop ra kos balay cge ug basa, drawing, himo paper dolls, art crafts,etc. Wa koy playmate, mao di ko kabalo mag ride ug bike (until now!), banga ug outdoor sports (hehe)... kay wla man na-exposed...
