i believe you're one of the fan of Erap?
again you are free to believe in what you want to believe. wat else do you want to believe?

was Garci really proven to be involved in dag2x bawas or merely speculations again? =)
there are so many things bai that are proven outside the courts. sentido common bai...

was he not suppose to go out and meet any politician during his stint in comelec?..is there any protocol or something that barred him for such?
ang tikasan bai bisan og onsa pa na nga protocol ang gibutang buhaton gihapon ang guinadili. most of the comelec employees tingali kahibaw ana, pero onsaon ta man sab lagi wala man kaau magpakahero. mura man ka og just now.

now there goes the speculation. if there is really a hard evidence against Garci then why is he not indicted of any cases of fraud or any election offenses?
maybe not now... kay si GMA pa ang naa sa poder. Ang mga corrupt nga taw nakasohan after pila ka years nila nga pagka corrupt, perfect example MARCOS, he was not charge of any offense during the times he was accused of those crimes.
but sakto sab si wak_wak kong tinud-on ni ang kaso ni Garci, daghan kaau madamay, mao ng uban politiko nagpaka hilom2x na lng, kay apil sila sa customer ni Garci.

Would you vote for Garci bai?

Garci is innocent because congress did not file a case against him... Is that innocence? If congress did not file a case against him its not because he is not innocent its because congress protected him from prosecution.

Garci has clean track record in public service... Will the proponent of this statement kindly explain to us why? Or if he can, can he present to us the Garci's track record as a public official for us to see whether it is really clean or not.

Garci is credible to run as congressman... What credibility? Here comes a person who dont respect the very laws he is bound to implement and then participate in the electoral process. Tell that to the of northern mindanao who where victimized by Garci during his long stint as COMELEC Regional Director. Tell that to the people of Misamis Oriental who regularly subjected to Garci's dagdag bawas operations.

This man has been abusing his power all along and I think the people of Northern Mindanao particularly in Bukidnon to teach Garci a lesson. You can oppress us once but not all the time. The people of bukidnon are bracing for Garci's candidacy. And their battlecry is to bring on Garci.

So much has been said about the alleged wiretapped conversation between President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Commissioner Virgilio O. Garcillano of the Commission on Elections and already significant damage has been caused the respective unassuming parties. And we, the COMELEC employees in Mindanao, will not take it sitting down any longer. Hence, the instant attempt at an appeal to fairness.

Reports say that the alleged wiretapped conversation was a result of the bugging of the phone of Commissioner Virgilio O. Garcillano. If the same is true then we can only assume that the alleged bugging transpired during the election period of the last May 10, 2004 National and Local Elections. We dare ask: How come only that ONE particular conversation has been publicized? Surely, there were other conversations that took place during that period. And surely there were other politicians, whether administration or opposition candidates, who called him up as is wont to happen during any election period. Why are those conversations not being aired today? Was the "wiretapping" then discriminatory only against alleged calls from the President? We do not believe that no other politician called Commissioner Garcillano. And we most certainly will not believe that the other Commissioners were not themselves contacted by politicians. Show us one Commissioner who was free from contact from any politician and we will show you the moon. If it was indeed Commissioner Garcillano's phone that had been bugged, let us BE FAIR and make public all other conversations that may have taken place during the period of the alleged wiretapping.

The more important issue at hand is: How could the public be truly certain that it was indeed Commissioner Garcillano's phone that had been bugged? No one has come out to openly admit to such bugging? And what about the act of wiretapping itslef, has that not been declared illegal by law? So how come Commissioner Garcillano's phone had been allegedly subject of wiretapping, in the first place? Who directed the conduct of the same? The illegal order which resulted in the illegal act must not be tolerated by the Filipino people. We must express outrage at the act of invasion of privacy in individuals. Let us BE FAIR and expose the culprit behind the alleged illegal act and not condemn those who may have been victims of said illegal act.

As regards the alleged text of the alleged wiretapped conversation and, again, granting its veracity, we find nothing incriminating therein. There was nary a single indicia of fraud committed during the last May 10, 2004 National and Local Elections. To be sure, the President never asked Commissioner Garcillano to carry out acts of fraudulence nor did Commissioner Garcillano admit to the commission of any. So what is the big deal? For the record, we confirm that Commissioner Garcillano or any other COMELEC Commissioner NEVER asked us, in COMELEC Mindanao, to execute and/or perform any illegal act in the furtherance of the candidacy of any politician, administration or opposition. Let us BE FAIR and tell it like it is --- no malicious interpretations, please.

Now, the President and Commissioner Garcillano are unjustly placed in a precarious position where any act or admission by them, be it positive or negative, would be construed against them either way by virtue of the unfair and disparaging publicity they had been subjected to lately. All those years of sterling performance, hard work and industry conscientiously devoted to public service now appear to be for naught. Is that how we, the Filipino people, repay those who had dedicated their lives to the performance of outstanding public service? Is that how we show our gratitude and appreciation? We think not. Let us give them the honor and respect that they deserve. Let us BE FAIR and desist from making hasty conclusions and/or unfounded judgments.

Both President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Commissioner Virgilio O. Garcillano are innocent of any wrongdoing. Both are mere victims of political propaganda. Both are shinning examples of integrity and dedicated leadership. Let us not pull them down and our country along with them instead let us allow them to do what they do best --- serve the Filipino people.

This is not responsive to my challenge to show why Garcillano became a promising politician and and has a clean track record as COMELEC official. What I want to see is an outine of his accomplishments, awards, citations extolling Garcillano EXEMPLARY public service.

Just mention the name Garcillano here in Mindanao and you will get squirms from people. The people already know what kind of public official is Garcillano.

And what is that? Alliance of COMELEC employees in Mindanao. I doubt that group existed. They should have published the names of the members comprising the group.

I bet this is another bogus organization composed only of the writer of the article.
