kanya-kanya ra man guro gyud na nga style... if we are not that flexible, basi mabiyaan pud ta sa panahon. tan-awa ning MangoRed. they post-process a lot...a whole lot... but look at where it got them...MangoRed Photo Pro UK Mag Feature
i don't think any of us here, purist or otherwise, has ever been featured on a foreign mag, a photo mag at that, like they have.
i agree with the TS...make the the shot perfect even without post-processing. then do what you like with your shot. even if other people don't like what you do, just make sure that you, and your intended viewers, like what you do...

no need to do that you can post your pictures here..

I agree with p-chan. It'd be great if we can share photos we think are 'sinful.'

I don't consider the following sinful because it represents what I envisioned when I took the raw material and made the picture in Photoshop:

However, this one is because I had no idea what I was trying to do, a failed experiment so to speak which I uploaded just to remind me to be aware of such things:

This article, although about painting, is applicable to photography.

    Art - Realism vs Impressionism

Tung una naa pud impressionists versus realists.

A quote from said article, "You have something to say and you do so through your painting. Then, you direct the attention of the viewer at exactly what it is you have to "show". And if you have nothing to say ... well then ... the viewer might as well look anywhere on the canvas."
