    my CPU is an overclocked 3800 @ 2.8ghz with 1.65V everyday use
    first videocard is EVGA 7800GTX extreme OC edition running 500/1400 with modified bios
    2nd videocard is an XFX 7800GTX OC edition running 500/1400 with modified bios
    pretty much runs 24/7
    so how about your load and idle temps also the ambient

    CPU is 28C=idle 35-40C=full load and both videocards are 36-38=idle and 45-50=full load with an ambient temp of 26-30C

    @DD: what's the flow rate of your D4 pump?

    maximum flow rate of slightly over 370 gallons per hour (1400 liters per hour).

    DD..is there any ambient noise when the pump is operating? looks like yu got a hell of a pump.

    I think the noise is minimal thats a Lanling D4 pump i think. and 12v pumps that are designed for watercooling are almost dead silent with the porper mountings

    @EarlZ: coolant path is as follows:

    pump -> proc block -> gpu block -> rad -> pump (i don't use a reservoir)

    proc block: swiftech mcw5000p
    gpu block: innovatek graph-o-matic (for radeon 9800xxx)
    tubing: tygon 1/2" OD
    fan: 120mm x 120mm nidec at low speed setting

    any suggestions on how i could lower my gpu temps, without adding another rad c",)

    i think its ur radiator gyud bai, the performance is really low.. try to get some thermochill PA 120.1 ( single rad )

    how long na since you cleaned ur loop ? maybe you got some circulation problems also..

    possible reason why your GPU is warmer than it should with water cooling.

    1.since its a modified GPU block..it might not be sitting right on the GPU or not covering the whole GPU.
    2.no resevior.a resevior acts as a cooling solution too for the entire circulation of the water.
    3.the tubing is too big for the configuration and its making the water circulate fast and not giving it enough time to cool off before a full circle.
    4.the pump is too strong.added the push of a strong pump with a large ID will make the water circulate faster before it gets cooled by the radiator.(plus no resevior to let the water sit for an added equation to further cool off the water before it does a full circle.

    i used to have a pentium 3.4 prescott overclocked to 4ghz(everyday use) but i was using a 38 ID tubing with a 250-300 liter/hour pump and the CPU temp never reached 40C.i changed the water set up with 1/2 inch ID and the D4 pump and my temp went higher by 2-5C

    @tolstoi..
    just like what earlz mentioned,theres no noise at all and the pump is totaly quiet.
