hmm, what people said about alberto's being super thin crust and then the crust tasting "tam-is2x" is true. budget pizza jud kaayo na ang alberto's coz the most expensive they have is around 250 only. then there's also the onion overload. daghan jud kaayo. then again, if you're on a budget, kana nalang jud compared to other "baratohon" pizzerias in cebu.

as for calda, sad to say, calzone version ra nila akong na try. and i didn't really like it. it came across as cheap tasting and "tihik sa ingredients" to me. will have to try other versions of calda pizza pa gyud. pero so far, tanawn pa lang daan, i'd go for calda over alberto's.

I'm beginning to think that Alberto's Pizza's offerings - specifically the pizzas 11 inches long, mozarella cheese and prices ranging P130-P135 - pale in comparison to similar offerings of the new pizza joint Brasco Pizza & Pasta.

I ordered another pizza there recently, a small size Say Cheese Pizza (tomato sauce, mozarella cheese and garlic). For a thin crust pizza priced at P139, it sure is worth it and tasty. It's 10 inches alright but it is more satisfying than any of Alberto's Pizza's 11-inch mozarella pizzas costing P130-135. Oh yeah, Brasco's pizzas are rich in cheese and tomato sauce.

Back to Alberto's and Calda, I think Calda offers better value and taste.

Even though it's more expensive, Calda gives better value in return to what I paid.

While it's true that Alberto's pizzas are inexpensive, they're definitely not cheap. Cebuanos are smart! They know that buying Alberto's pizza is a good deal because not only is it filling, it also tastes great and best of all, they don't scrimp on ingredients - quantity or quality wise.
