OK, since we are talking of employees more particularly call center agents.... that a call center agents are doing routinary jobs, that a call center agents are mor*n, that call center are slaves of the imperialist america, that working in a call center is a brain drain job... etc etc...

NOW, we try to look at other employees, the teachers, the nurses, the bank tellers, the factory workers and the ordinary rank and file of your business Sir TS. do you think their job is not routinary? and Mr TS can you pay your employees the same pay the "lowly" call center agent take home every 15th and 30th? Mr TS can you give your employees and their family the medical benefits the "LOWLY" Call center agents are enjoying?

Going back to other employees who work hard and being paid 8K-10K per month (correct me if i'm wrong with the figures but i have friends who are receiving such pay) CONSIDER THIS MR TS, if all things remain same within 5yrs. a call center agent vs. a teacher or a nurse or a bank teller. My question Mr TS is who has the upper hand or who has the advantage to save more? your employee or a LOWLY call center agent?

Mr TS.. I am a call center agent and I am proud of it, it pays my LAW SCHOOL and now i am preparing for my Bar Exam next year. Do you think if i am one of your employee, i can pay my bills and study law? if you can, i will resign from my current job and work for you. BTW, I am a nationalist too.

yes there are call center agents who are in debt, like 100K. i heard of it and i pity those kids. i think nakuratan ra sila sa kadako sa ila sweldo nga nagtuo sila nga makabayad ra dayon sila, so they use their credit cards to the limit. we see this being an issue to some call center employees but haven't you heard of a positive comments comming from the family of a call center emloyee?

but do you think other ordinary employees are not in debt? c'mon... naa pa joke ang mga teacher, por-loan nalang daw wala nila na applayan ug loan.

Mr. TS if you are truly a nationalist businessman as you preach.. why not socialized your business or perhaps make a profit sharing scheme with your employees and i will be the first to march the street and glorify you.

Or you just one of those capitalist sharks who are only after the profit.

The industry had been a catch-up basin, a last resort for a desired profession/carreer never been opened.

Nursing grads who had not a chance to go abroad...
Education grads who are not given the opportunity to teach...
Etc...etc...

If you r already here, its ok.
You can stay for now. But never stay long.
Find your own path.

i am one with you on this, BUT are you not happy that those nursing grads, those education grads that where not given the opportunity to work in the hospital or teach in our schools?

as for me, i save and studied law that is my back up plan... growing old is not a problem when you plan.

"how frightening.. when you rule do you give justice to your employees? do you give them a living wage?

Are these BPO companies here kay nalooy sila kay wala intawn tay trabaho?

My challenge to them,
Ug bilib mo sa Pinoy.....
Ug nalooy mo sa Pinoy...
Y wont you give them the salary as you paid ur agents in ur country?

For sure, nalooy ka sa pinoy... but can you give your employees a salary at par with what call center agents are receiving?

They are here for business. They are not here to help.
They are here because of cheap labor, which would equate to cheap operating cost.

I hope you don't share the same principle as you claim you are a NATIONALIST.

And sooner or later when another race, a more hungry race, would have the same "twang"

any college degree is not a guarantee for a good life.. maski pa ma lawyer ka or ma doctor, if dili ka kmao mo diskarte.. wala ghapon ka..

as i see it, call center job is indeed a good job if theres no other alternative.. however, it would be very unwise if mao ra ang saligan.. the BPO industry is very volatile.. at any moment, bpo companies could open otherseas that could compete with ours..

to serve the country. it would be very patriotic to start businessess.. that way, we could provide jobs to our fellow countrymen.. the should be working for us. not for foreign masters..

i have high respect to the few filipino capitalist in here.. because of their businesses, they provide jobs to others..

to those who value job security.. i cans ay that they are selfish.. they think only of their own and not for the comunity..

kanang taas nga sweldo sa call centers is a good way to discourage the agents of venturing out.. ikaw daw, naa ka sweldo nga 20k ang bulan, ganahan pa ba ka mag negosyo nga grabe ka demanding and pila ra kita per month... those operators wouldnt want competitors, so they would rather have you working for them instead of competing against them..

para nako.. being a business owner is way better than being a call center agaent..

as a broker, ive brokered many sale of businesses already.. as i see it. the earnings are 5x and above than your average call center job.. plus it generates you money even if you dont work... havent it occured to you guys that most businessmen operate multiple businesses at the same time? havent you wondered how they do it.. in a business, you got freedom.. in a job, you must follow orders..

^ not all people are like you. if given a chance to start a business why not? if you have the capital then why not venture? if you are a call center agent and you go to school at the same time, you even send your siblings to school as well, and while you are feeding your family's mouth too... would it ever cross your mind to risk and not think about the people depending on you? What if the business crashed? Who would feed them?

I have been a call center agent, I already bought a house and gave it to my family. I bought my own car. I feed my family from my own money, from this job that you guys are mocking of! If there is no job security, atleast I know where my monies are going/went!

I am working in a callcenter paying me 6 digits per month and no taxes!! Probably I will be starting my own business too, but not now. So ayaw mi pangunahi.. Adto ra ta tanan padung.. See you nalang when we get there..

P.S we also have brains and HEART!!
