We are still developing, we need more sacrifices... if we have love for this great nation. Love for the country is, I think, the only thing that separates us from them. "Maau pa sa Amerika, dako pa sweldo", "Adto nalng ko sa Dubai kay dagko sweldo"... This is because we love our Family more than our Country. Our country earns from OFW's remittances, but it is just a side effect. I know most people lost their hopes on our country. But then again, who will change everything? It's only us. Not Koreans, Taiwanese, Americans... IT'S US.

You just don't know how Koreans had sacrifice for their country, do you?

so kanang tv media, dili na dapat i blame sa atong misfortunes karon. ang pagtan aw og telenovela sa tv is not bad, sometimes we need it pero in moderation lang pud kay anything good done in excess is bad man pud.

Sorry to say this but it's true... Philippine TV Media (ABS-CBN or GMA) are actually controlling most of Filipinos lives. Filipinos that were suppose to be doing something productive during primetime... Our lives became dragging and running slow. We are wasting our time watching these teleseryes, reality shows, showbiz talk-shows, and dramas.

I don't know, I just thought about it.

What about these activities during night:
- Studying/Planning Small Business
- Monthly Budget computation
- Future planning
- Learning new skills
- Sports
- etc

Let's get rid of these programmes on TV. Let's boycott until they'll change the way they influence our lives.

In my opinion, people still have the independence and choices to make on their own. They should never let those over-sized TV networks brainwash them. People should tke the initiative to turn the TV off. As for news, I prefer newspapers over television.

The giant TV networks also have manipulators/spies lurking around online forums as well, and this includes Istorya.

am not too fond of telenovelas... dramas... local TV
i usually just watch the news, catch a movie before I sleep or go online
pero, carrying this line of thought... laptops and internet can also be a non-productive way of spending time... PC games, social networking sites, etc.
