osmeña closing the srp.. what can you say about that?
well, he's not a king, he's a mayor.. his duty is to serve and not to rule.
Si Tomas nahubog sa gahum. The nature of the beast.
he's doing it for the one's who live in the city coz it was really the city's idea and budget to build the srp and the talisay has now claimed it for their own... its unfair right... thats why tommy is doing that... we cant blame him for doing it..
practically speaking, i'd rather let others take their undue share of the project rather than claiming something exclusively to be our own when in fact we couldn't even grasp the benefits of such project.. hunong nalang unta na sila ug patas-anay sa ilang ihi..Â* anyway, i think there's already an existing thread about this issue..
yep... naa na bitaw.
but I hope lang onta nga makabawi ta sa gasto ani, kita ra ba mag bayad ani dili si Tomas. Sa pagka karon ang SRP road ra man ang gamit ron.
Fight for your rights Talisay!

remain silent on this issue and osmena to push through on his project. A lot of money were wasted due to jealousy and shall we say crab mentality.
Why? The one started and finish the project is osmena even the investment but what happen na mus start na ang operation, Gullas ask share of income kay apil sa iya jurisdiction and i believe this is unfair for Osmena. Were spending money everyday on this project right now w/o income kay gi close man and whose money? from the tax payer and who's that?
Us, the people who pays our taxes.... I hope ma ressolve nani na conflict,.....
i admire Mayor Osmena for this project and i hate Gullas for what he did.....
Bolshoi your too being one sided by the issue..
ya i agree with you that osmena did greet on this project but
that osmena handling this issue too personal?! what about
those vendor in pasil that lives in talisay?! people work on CITOM that lives on talisay why did he fired on thier job is because that they live on
talisay?! why should people from talisay suffer?!... if mr. osmeana and gullas have their political conflict osmena should not inlcude those peole in talisay it's so unfair.... if the gullas would be too arrogant people of cebu doesnt have water supply anymore u know y?! what if gullas blocked that water supply passes from his city...but osmena should not be too personal on this matter.. he's not a kid anymore....
Both OSMENA and GULLAS should set their pride aside otherwise the SRP will become another North Reclamation Area -- a wasteland full of junk cargo containers and squatters...
The two should cooperate in fully developing it as a special economic zone very well much like MEPZ... A portion of it can be developed in partnership with the Ayalas as a business park pretty much like the Cebu Business Park or maybe as an IT Park like Asiatown in Lahug, which would then house future Call Centers and other related companies... Another portion of it can house future hotels, retirements villages, hospitals..... and if the plans would push through, a second SM City or Ayala Mall...
