cerebrus.. icoh, there is an AGP version of 6800gt. thats what i have now.
thanks though. hehe. kinda doubtful pd ko if unsa gyud coz mas sikat ang 6600gt man gud.. hehe. thanks for the reply though.
@steve
6600GTs run hotter, because it has HSI (high speed interface) which enables the 6600GT be used on AGP...
and the heatsink of AGP does not cover the RAMs of the vcard, while the PCI-E does...
which means, PCI-E version runs colder...
(these info are based on Inno3D's 6600GT PCI-E and 6600GT AGP)
I dont know, with the other brands
@dom_08 thanks for the help!so in terms of speed the same ra?
it depends...some manufacturers increase the clocks of the gpu or mem...labelling with words such as "extreme","ultra" or watever they com up to...but some does not denote a faster-rated model as you might expect..some strictly follow nvidia reference specs...
wherein conventional 6600gts are rated @ 500/1000mhz gpu/mem...some manufacturers like leadtek had their 6600gt at nvidia refernce specs...others like galaxy in the us had 525/1050...some are underclocked at 500/900...
ohhh thanks man!...but in inno3d's case? what can u say about it? does it follow nvidia's reference specs?

inno3d uses the samsung memry @ 1000mhz unlike leadtek 900mhz
but offcourse you can overclock it any time with a good heatsink.
so are u saying that inno3d is a better choice than leadtek becoz of it's memory clock speed?![]()
@gregggy_ph
lingaw imo avatar dah!![]()

@steve
for quality go for leadtek 6600gt
