i know sec. ace personally kay i was once his scholar, and lahi ra jud cya sa uban na mga "dagko" na taw ako nameet...very down to earth and there's just so much goodness in him!!!

OK,let's respect others opinion and their right in voting whoever they want.

i am a cebuano since birth but when i got the chance to vote like 8 years ago and Sonny Osmeña was then running for Senate. I didn't vote for him even if he is a Cebuano, when he started serving in the Senate, she was unproductive. He was also one of those responsible for cutting some budget on Education. Even if Ace Durano is not a cebuano or danaowanon.. i would still vote for him. his accomplishments surpasses those other Secretaries that GMA appointed, he is a good person and pretty sure he will win.

If Sec. Ace Durano has all the qualifications and none of the disqualifications, then who are we to question him if he decides to run as a senator the upcoming elections. If the voting public is looking for his credentials, then his record as the head of the Department of Tourism speaks for itself.

He has successfully turned the Philippines, into one of the most admired tourist destinations in the world. He should be given credit for making tourism a thriving industry, despite of the global financial crisis. And for that alone, I think Sec. Durano is more qualified than the other senatoriables.
