I just finished reading "The Jesus Papers". Quite fascinating indeed. I just don't want to believe some facts claimed by the author. But still, an interesting read.

ngeee mao jud bro...i have read a lot of stuff considered heretical by the church wala jud ko na faze out...pero kani nga book medyo ni warn jud akong bana if i should read it daw ...knowing nga Jesus fan jud ko....ha ha ha...pero ok lang....i would still recommend it to people with open minds...

^^ bitaw sis..pang open minded ra gyud ni nga book. Mas ganahan ko ani kay sa Holy Blood, mura na sya'g fiction. But most reviews i've read 'bout Jesus Papers kay medyo dili ok. Pero si samokan, ganahan siguro gyapon ani. :mrgreen:

Thanks for the suggestion. I may try to find time to visit the shop soon. I haven't been in a bookshop for I think more than month now and I already run out of books to read. The last time I was in the shop, I bought The Historian, The Jesus Dynasty, Knight Templars, Anne Rice's JC: Out of Egypt, Blood and Gold, and a second copy of Messianic Prophecy since I lost my first one. I'll try to look for that book sis. Thanks again.

Agree ko ani. The devil is full of tricks to win you over and deceive you in the end. We dont even celebrate evil holidays in my household like Halloween specially Christian akong daughter..we skip that holiday of all holidays. She smashed all her old cds containing bad language and rap music, she does not like Harry Potter too. For me ang Bible daghan ug interpretations it has been revised and redone many times over but i always think sa catholics it should just be the only traditional dhuay-Rheims bible. So i would like to tell others to use discernment when you buy books or other types of media info out there. When it comes to these things that feeds my mind and soul, i am careful. I was also opposed to Da Vinci Code.

And what makes you so sure that the Bible is not one of the Devil's trick to keep you away from the REAL God by letting you believe to a false god?
