I've read "The Magic of BELIEVING" by: Claude Bristol and there was no superstition involved! It speaks about THE POWER OF OUR MINDS!
The GREATEST MAGIC in the universe is when we are able to TRANSFORM ourselves FOR THE BETTER. That is, when we are able TO LOVE and ACCEPT PEOPLE AS WHO AND WHAT THEY ARE as we are able to LOVE and ACCEPT OURSELVES AS WHO AND WHAT WE ARE!![]()

"The Morning of the Magicians . . . taught me 'Live your life in the visible and the invisible world.' " —Paulo Coelho, author, The Alchemist
LOL. Dont reduce what magicians do to 'just sleight-of-hand'.There is more to it than just "finger-flinging".
To tell you honestly, even though both have vast differences, magicians (what you consider illusionists) and the magick-practicioners (what you call "magickians") also have LOTS in common. (and its nothing to do with 'sleight-of-hand'..)
