better buy UPS bro. wa may mabuhat sa AVR nga dili mabuhat sa UPS, naa pa ka battery backup. surge protection? standard man na sa UPS bro, and mao ra man siguro na protection nga mahatag sa AVR. anyway, maka-shutdown pa ka tarong if UPS imo gamit.

i don't use neither avr nor ups. diretso plug sa power strip. confident ko nga walay power fluctuations and surges sa among area. i observed nga mas gamay akong energy consumption kung mo-ditso ko plug sa power strip kaysa mag-agi pa ug AVR akong PC.

Yes thats what i use, the 1000watt servo type model.

Using both AVR & UPS.

AVR - Omni 1000W Servo Type
UPS - Pulsar 1000W w/ external N70 battery

Need the servo type AVR to stabilize the power going into the UPS. Our power supply here drops to 170V during peak loads (6 to 8 pm).

Powering two computer sets w/ generic 450W PSU ug the other true rated 500W PSU. Ang wala naka plug in sa AVR ug UPS kay ang mga speaker systems nla (2.1 ug 5.1). Both speaker systems naka taod sa generic na 500W relay type AVR.

Major investment gyud ni pero gives me peace of mind knowing that my computers are well protected.
