I think the purpose of 'dating' is to see if both parties are compatible with each other. If the guy is an ass, by all means, be proactive, express yourself and move on. Same goes for guys too. Let's all try to do this amicably and let's all be mature about it. If not, well...that in some way, proves my point.

my erstwhile friend is right, a date is not only for a girl to get to know a guy but it also works the other way as well. guys are too preoccupied with impressing their dates that they forget the true purpose of a date...to get to know a person. I think it should be this way, both parties concerned bring themselves when they meet.no pretenses and no pressure.just a meeting of 2 strangers.if they hit it off, then there will be a second even a third date. this should be when the impressing starts. once you are comfortable with your date and there is chemistry between the two of you.

sometimes we have this posture.Â* we impress our dates. "oh, i wake up like this!" you know what i mean? that's why so many relationships end up tumbling down the rabbit hole because one day you'll wake up to a complete stranger and say "who the hell are you?""where's the person who used to do..blah blah and blah" give them reality from the door.Â* you don't wanna be loved by someone on a track love!
