Which CPU processor is better? AMD or Intel...or naa pa ba lain...

By the way bro why are you disposing your setup? Seems a nice rig... Been eying 805 for my first Intel build but seems I have no budget for upgrades for the moment. Do you think the price will cascade for the coming month for this processor? Thanks

i only have two hands
an opteron build is coming next month(so this build is temporary or interim) and soon to have a mac for dev. while im having second thoughts of keeping this PD820 build to use it as linux server. quite expensive and overkill build for that purpose(linux).

the mobo was in the buy and sell section for a while, so i thought build it to experience what the fuss is all about this mobo. all the fuss around is right. its a good mobo if not the best for the pentium D series.

question on if the prices will come down? pretty sure when conroe is out. but thats sometime 3rd quarter or 2006 and it depends if your needs can WAIT for that time. conroe might be available in PH market around last quarter of 06 or baka 2007 na. so again, it depends if you can WAIT.

mga bro, which processor would be best if your a hardcore software developer?..i'm planning to upgrade my pc to either Pentium D or AMD 64...just wanna ask your opinions about it..please note that i don't do heavy graphics softwares..just pure hardcore software development..merey business and web applications using dotnet technology.i use any dotnet platform..

for heavy software programming, i think a dual-core processor is best. its very likely that you'll be multitasking a lot of applications, and the cheapest one out there right now is Intel... an alternative is to use P4 with HT...

OT: if you play World of Warcraft , don't go with AMD Athlon64 X2 (Dual cores) ----> I made a mistake and bought X2 4400+ and found out that there is a bug....but too late it works but performance is not good compared to my Athlon64 single core or IntelP4 (non-dual core).

the only bug i see is that youl get stuck 64.1 fps.. but its no biggy since the eye cant see more than that.. and its only max FPS

stuttering is one...but if you got NVIDIA latest Video card 7800...it sucks...you will notice that everything slows down whenever you click another character...well it's just annoying
