the only source of knowledge i have about japan(culture,ppl,language), except food(kay available mn dre..YUM!) kay through their movies, dramas, music and anime..hehehe..but sa ako na observe ( sa ka daghn na au na natanaw nako..hehehe!) japan is a perfect(or as close to it) blend of old and new..western and eastern beliefs..very advanced ila culture considering 2nd lng cla sa US but they still retain the values of their ancestors..they demand excellence in their work w/c i tnk is the reason why they are an economic powerhouse.. but greatly values an individual's integrity, morals and sense of family(conservative gihapon cla in this area) which i tnk is common sa mga asian countries ..and i think if we pinoy's are able to at least capture or be able to know and do how they mix the two then we wouldnt be far from success as a whole country not just as individuals..^_^
and sakto sad to gi ingon dre na murag ang new gen of japanese youth is slowly losing or disregarding some of the basic teachings that was passed down from generations w/c i tnk makes their foundation as a country strong..i hope they wont lose these coz this would be their downfall.
