It's because most of the time, we focus on our emotions and ultimately disregard our reasoning. Then we decide without even listening. That doesn't go for girls alone, it's for both guys and gals. It's a human nature. Though there is a saying, "Women are creatures of emotions, and Men are creatures of thinking. Talking between them doesn't go so well but listening does."
