for MAC, you pay a lot for a little "exclusitivity"... so katong mga naay kwarta, dili kaayo technical, ganahan ma set-apart from the rest of the crowd (kay tingali wala gyud makatagad nila in any other way... DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL ni nga part hab), then they go for MAC.

for all the rest, including me, PC to the max! mamili pa gyud ug set-up or brand nga makaminus pero makakuha ra sad sa parihas or mas nindot pa nga performance! mwahahahahaha!

i prefer macs over pcs any day but we shouldnt bother comparing really. it all comes down to personal preference. my bro has a pc and i have a mac. he likes meat, i like veggies. he plays games while i design. macs are known to be highly priced but i was willing to make an investment for my future in design (or just a have this delicious piece of machine sitting on my desk if that doesnt work out). ive never had one security problem with my mac thank god coz i cant be bothered with that =P. and my mac is just so...clean! and who cares about not being able to upgrade a mac. just get a new one! i wouldn't wanna be stuck with the same thing anyway.

every one seems to miss the point about macs, it is in the high end of the market so its suppose to be expensive, plus its the OS that set it apart from the rest.one example, the way it uses the gpu to accelerate computation in video in photo, its time machine. macs are the Ferrari's of the OS.

in 2-3 year windows will "adopt" its features in misconstruing way.In other words the mac os is the research and development lab in the OS world.

so hardware is not the point its how you use it.
