So unsa man diay ang buhaton sa mga tawo bi, kay naa man daw linog? Mag hapa-hapa or mag kamang-kamang ta ron?

I remember an old saying from my Catechism/Sunday School days, and it's in Cebuano pa dyud...

"Maayo nalang nang magtindog bahala'g sige'g katumba, kaysa kanang mokamang-kamang nalang kay mahadlok magtindog kay basin matumba."

    Life goes on.

Which is why I bother to share what I know. Education, as always, is the key to empowering the people.

I admit some of the information I share may be in error from time to time , but I honestly glean it from everything I know that is factual and with solid references.

    @ hubog hahaha good one!

This is stupid. Sure Phivolcs could say an earthquake might happen tungod sa usa ka fault line but to actually narrow down a quake to exactly when, where and unsa ka kusog? That's absurd.

Exactly. It's almost like counting sand grains--sure...you'll eventually reach the 100,000th grain, but as to when....hahaha.

Is the rumored magnitude 6.8 earthquake prediction that will hit Philippines tonight, true?

[The prediction was supposed to be made by the U.S. Geological Society, and it was forwarded as a text message by Hawaii State Emergency Preparedness Office.]
