pede ka mag vista if you're pc/laptop can handle it. since it's the latest OS man. and XP got the last SP3 release so wla na ayo support. but as of now ok pa ang xp compatible pa kaayo. and depends on your budget too. maybe mo palit nlng ka og bundle na geniune OS. hehe. laptop + the usual bundle nila na Vista Home basic/premium. but then again gasto na pud kaayo kay mahal ang laptop. lol
All in all go for vista if it's just for office and/or basic work AND if your pc can handle the requirements. The requirements is not that heavy really especially the home edition. lol

Licensed or Pirated? hahaha .. you're talking about windows right?.. I have a genuine xp sp3... genuine vista sp1... and a free GNU for all Linux distros installed on my system (since I have a lot of it on the GRUB).................................
