why do they want the flyovers so much? why P300 million each? why are the roads widened to cater to the 5% who own cars in Cebu? why not widen the roads for wider tree lined sidewalks and bicycle lanes for the general public to enjoy? why have they worked so hard to get the money for a project that is only a band aid short term temporary solution? why in Gorordo Ave Asilo area when there is no traffic there ?

Since the Bantal flyover controversy 4 years ago, a question was posed to find a 2-lane flyover in a 4-lane intersection anywhere else in the world. So far none can be located except the Philippines. Cebu has 7 and will add 2 more this year. Manila has zero. This should have been a red flag to Cebuanos. There has to be a reason why. It is because in other countries, they know there are numerous cheaper and more efficient solutions. -ENGINEER SANCHEZ

roads are wide enough i think in mandaue-mabolo highway... the problem is big trucks loading or unloading materials or something there in mabolo near prince court.. grabe mka traffic gyud. another problem would be the intersections... intersections causes traffic. now, how do they deal with intersections build a fly over... ana..

pero i just read an old news paper.. ban-tal fly over cost only 100+million. why is it nga 600+mil ang budget sah planned fly over.. 6x man sad.

building two new flyovers at the junction of M.J. Cuenco Avenue and General Maxilom Avenue and the junction of Gorordo Avenue and Archbishop Reyes Avenue are expected to start this year nga mo-kabat ug 600M.... laing over-priced nasad ni kung basihan ang BAN-TAL flyover budget.... ?
