But in reality, naa jud gravity pulling/holding each planet. Kay kung wala, pastilan, mura'g bilyards.

let's just take a closer look sa mga satellites Doc. sa pagmaintain nila sa orbit sa earth ba. gagmay ra baya ng sikad ana kay paspas man sad lagi ang velocity.

na-interes naman nuon ni na topic.

OK for the rule of assumption. But we don't assume here.

    both statements are correct Rods.

And how would you like to compare Unmanned Probe to Lunar Module?
Can you use the analogy using a simulation or RC flying?

Real Flight : Fear of crashing (same with real RC flying)
Simulation: It's up to you rods.

    Russian made it, not America.
    That's the difference.

LOL? Even though the Soviets/Russians verified/acknowledged that Apollo really reached the moon? Mas maayo ka pa sa mga Russian scientists Nasyo?

Again, answer me the question--what makes the ZOND any different from the LM?

I will read this first Rods. Seems interesting. Basin mag-abot jud ta sa punto nga something set foot sa moon jud.

the problem with you rodsky, when you argue, you put words in our mouth.
no one said the unmanned modules were never sent to the moon.
infact, they all crashed in the moon.

so stop putting words in our mouth.

    stick with what you know.

    my point was
it impossible to land perfectly on the moon as shown in the moon landing video.
due to its initial velocity and the pull of the gravity of the moon.

if you intend to miss the moon hoping that the gravity will pull the module into its orbit, that is a risky idea.
a small difference in speed or direction may lead to a miss and the module will wander in space forever.

Isn't it a valid answer to your question Rods? Russian made aren't same with US.

same ra lagi daw ang manned ug unmanned. pastilan, pila % sa crash sa unmanned?

Another question I'm posing to both you and Soul Doctor.

    1. You both agree nga the reason they both (US vs. Russia) wanted to go to the moon, i.e. ga-lumba sila?

    2. Ok if you say "yes" to the question above, then surely, both side would have set up monitoring systems (clandestine or overt) with their CIA or KGB, to make sure of the progress of both sides, kung tinood ba dyud ilang accomplishments...so they must have set up sophisticated surveillance equipment to monitor each other....you agree with this?

    3. So you also agree that if say, Russia had a means to monitor the Apollo mission, then they can publish data showing the Lunar Module heading towards the moon, yes?

Well, here's the checkmate guys. The Russians DID track the SIV+CSM+LM stack as it headed towards the moon And here's a Russian website (translated to English) that proves it:

    Translation result for http://www.novosti-kosmonavtiki.ru/content/numbers/271/03.shtml

    Crashed? Check again:

Soviet Unmanned SOFT LANDINGS on the moon (these were PERFECT landings!)

Not only they land! They DROVE on the moon!

Lunokhod's landing had to be MORE perfect than the Lunar Module--why? Because it's instruments were very sensitive, and it could have broken down if it landed HARD. So it was able to land perfectly. Again, there is NO difference in the physics encountered by the Lunokhod and the Lunar Module, so again, why you do think DILI KAYA sa Lunar Module ang nabuhat sa Lunokhod?

You don't know what you are talking about. "Miss the moon?" Please review Lunar Orbit Insertion link I posted above.
