I'm very particular about how much RAM is used by most apps because most WM5 / WM6 devices comes with 64MB RAM only. By the time you upgrade to WM6, you only have 40%-50% usable RAM left. Naturally, performance is affected when you have less RAM. So, basically, I have a very simple Today screen.

    TODAY SCREEN:
Today Plugin: HTC Home - v.2.1 - Kaiser 6-button edition (media player patched to work with WMP)
    Theme: Default Windows mobile
    Battery Indicator: Batti v.2.x
App Closer: HTC Task Manager v.2.x
    Cascading Menu: AlenSoft QuickMenu v.2.7

    Applications / Utilities:
    Capture Screen Utility
    Nyxbull Password Storage Utility
    HTC Black PhonePad (English Edition)
    Resco Explorer v.6.17
dotFred TaskManager (registry and system tweak tool)
dotFred PIMBackup (backup PIM data to storage Card - restore to any WM version)

    Cosmetics:
Custom Icon Folders for program Icon arrangement
Themes: DOWNLOAD LOTS OF WM6 THEMES HERE OR REQUEST FOR FREE

hehehe. thanks. no, the icons are from windows and linux combined. formatted them for PPC use.

    Steps to Install:
    1. copy icores.dll into \windows
    2. copy all folders (accessories, phone, games, etc.) into \windows\Start Menu\Programs
    3. move your present program icons in \windows\Start Menu\Programs to their respective folders

    DOWNLOAD HERE

    Notes:

    1. you can change the icons by editing icores.dll with resource hacker. image must be 32x32x256 colors
    2. you can download ready made icons from CrystalXP

    enjoy!
