Ode to a Beautiful Nude

With a chaste heart - with pure eyes - I celebrate your beauty.
Holding the leash of blood so that it might leap out
and trace your outline while you lie down in my Ode
As in a land of forests or in surf,
in aromatic loam or in sea music

Beautiful nude -
Equally beautiful your feet

Your ears, small shells of the splendid American sea.

Your breasts, a level plenitude fulfilled by living light.
Your flying eyelids of wheat, revealing or enclosing

Continues, separating your beauty down into two columns
Of burnished gold... fine alabaster
To sink into the two grapes of your feet
Where your twin symmetrical tree burns again and rises ..
Flowering fire... open chandelier,
a swelling fruit over the pact of sea and earth.

From what materials? agate? quartz? wheat? Did your body come together?
Swelling like baking bread to signal silvered hills.
The cleavage of one petal, sweet fruits of a deep velvet
until alone remained, astonished
the fine and firm feminine form.

It is not only light that falls over the world,
Spreading inside your body it's suffocated snow...
So much as clarity...taking it's leave of you
As if you were on fire from within.
The moon lives in the lining of your skin.

Nakakulong sa kwarto
Mga libro, binubuklat,
nagbabasa...
walang tinatapos

Nagsusulat sa likod ng gamit na papel,
may plumang kumakalat,
kakapit, kukuyom,
gusot-
diretso sa sahig

kukuha ng walis,
lilinisin,
nakababahing na alikabok,
mga papel na nakakalat,
pati mga buhok na nalagas

titingin sa gitarang nasa sulok,
hanggang kelan ka basag?

come, come let us converse scars

come, come let us converse scars
for i too have fallen maybe all too often
yet i do not anymore give in to steady respites
nor bother to heed the howls of humanity.
we are beauty, and beauty streams like
river - still flowing, never knowing.
must we measure life by its ebbs and tides?
alas, we are molded for perpetual strides.

you spoke to me of love that is
spontaneously given and none taken, but
we know it has its own price, like beauty,
and even the unconditional doesn't
come and go without restraints
i know you've seen clearly behind verdant
shades that speaks a many longings.

come, come let us compare stars
unerring beauty sustains, never once soften
i have bathed its glimmer through thousand flights
i too have seen the naked moon - there is no mystery.
it has its ugly hide, i know. so much like
us, yes. never caring, perpetually (r)evolving.
and must we leer at imperfections through dark side?
oh valiant Endymion, mad at the moon - be He our guide.

Note: This is my humble attempt to (re)invent a new poetic form. Basically, what i am trying to achieve is rhyme the first stanza with the last stanza(octaves), line by line(iambic meters and couplets be damned).

kay basin kining napan-os kung kasilag

Fix you
I never did understand what your purpose was in this world
All the memories that stuck to me when I was still

I had too much of it i couldn't take

I know you were putting up a brave fight
But deep inside you wanna cry
You started to lose your hair and you felt weak
I couldn't forget that day you called me
to come near you
I just ignored you
I know i hurt you
I wasn't really sure what to do
I was to busy worrying about my own problems
Things were so confusing
I never took the time to think that
you were fighting for your life
With the will that was left inyo
Now i'm making up for lost time
Spending my time with you
I pity you everytime you asked
our helpers what dress looks good on you
I didn't know why you felt insecure
But one thing is for sure
I will try my best to fix you

My mom was right when she reprimanded me...Okay nami sa ako mom.Listen to your parents,they know whats best for you.
