If you follow closely the library of books in the HOLY BIBLE , traditions speaks of a PATRIARCHAL COMMUNITY .
If that is the case then it is obvious that tradition is of greater importance than equality... the excuse that it's like this because "we have always done it this way" doesn't sit too well it these modern times where women play greater roles in society.

though everyone can follow the examples of JEsus as it is our role as Christians to begin with, we know that Jesus ordained only men when He breathed through the Apostles, then the cycle continues down to today's priests..
I think this has a lot to do with the social norms during those times. In today's times it can no longer be the case.

    Religious vocations
Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity wearing traditional Indian saris. In religious vocations, Catholic women and men are ascribed different roles. Men serve as deacons, priests, friars, monks, brothers, abbotts or in episcopal positions while women serve as nuns, religious sisters, abbesses or prioresses. Women are engaged in a variety of vocations, from contemplative prayer, to teaching, providing health care and working as missionaries. In 2006, the number of nuns worldwide had been in decline, but women still constituted around 753,400 members of the consecrated life, of a total worldwide membership of around 945,210. Of these members, 191,810 were men - including around 136,171 priests.[133]

Nuns and sisters may house themselves in convents – though an abbey may host a religious community of men or women. There are many different women's religious institutes and societies of apostolic life, each with its own charism or special character.

In religious institutes for women that are called orders (those in which solemn vows are taken), the members are called nuns; if they are devoted completely to contemplation, they adopt the strict form of cloister or enclosure known as papal cloister, while other nuns perform apostolic work outside their monasteries and are cloistered or enclosed only to the degree established by their rule, a form known as constitutional cloister.[134][135][136] Women members of religious institutes that are called congregations are not required by canon law to be cloistered are referred to, strictly speaking, as sisters, not nuns, although in common discourse the two terms are often used interchangeably.

In a nature where there is
    so much contentions and challenges,
men are the most favorable for strength
    required to withstand.

i wouldn't really say taste kay it might denote something else...perhaps God has the heart for minors, even seniors...actually people of all ages...hahaha
remember His salvation is for everyone, especially those who do not believe
