@all: For our nature drawing session this Sunday, please bring any reference photos (printouts, magazines, etc.) of the following:

1) trees (full of leaves, dead trees), foliage (bushes, vines, etc.)
2) stones, rocks, boulders, cliffs, rocky hill and mountains
3) clouds

We share each others' references and draw some we like for an hour. Bahala na unsa inyo style.

uhmm... wouldn't it be so much better if we actually reference from nature not just photos.. can't think of an ideal place though. we did such exercise back in college... inside the campus. watercolors...

@zerk: Yes, it is but for now I think it is okay to use reference photos . Let us learn techniques first then we can draw live from nature. Once we finish,
we can draw nature around NEC. This way we incorporate buildings (ikaw ra ba facilitator last lesson on perspective) with nature.

2nd one was problably a cosplay in one of them convention.

3rd one is a fan art by a tony moore??

alan moore originally intended to use the Charlton comics characters (The Question, Blue Beetle, etc...) for Watchmen but DC turned him down. Hence he created Rorschach based from Question and Nite Owl based from blue beetle.
