there was a time nga niabot gyud mi ug 40 kabuok. pero naapud raman.
sa manila sa una, sa queuing court nga ako naapilan, abot sila ug 100 plus.
from 4pm to 11pm, if stay gyud ka whole 7 hours, maabot gyud ka ug 10 games. pero usahay, makahulat ka ug 1 hour para sa next game. adto na paspas queuing sa last 3 hours.

forever newbies. hehehe. I reread this thread from page 1-60. Ten years na man diay ni. My first post was in page 40. I remember those days playing with TS and other istoryan enthusiasts. Kani nga grupo karon, part three na ni siya of what i started a decade ago.
Tips for newbies:
1. know at least the basics of badminton (grip, stance, footwork)
2. watch a training video
3. play with other beginners for a few times (mostly friends and family)
4. join a newbie-friendly group (P110 - P180 per game day). There are not too many out there. Mostly closed groups gyud unya mamili ug kadula (skill-wise and personality-wise).
5. hire a trainer to upgrade skill level (P150-300/hr)
6. invest in gears (Shoes - 2,500, bag -2k, racket, 4k)
7. play regularly at least twice a week. i-career nimo ang badminton for a year or two.
