Those words capture the meaning of Freemasonry. As the world's oldest and largest fraternity their goal is to build a man'sÂ* most valuable possession - his character.
They believe that the strength of the family, the church, the community and their country rests with men of strong conviction, firm ethical and moral values and a devotion to theÂ* democratic system of government. They help each other intensify their devotion to these enduring values.

Kinda like the first few posts about Free Masonry...but it seems the discussion has shifted to "you scratch my back, i'll scratch yours" thing.

Why don't we go back to mainstream and spark the topic, say for example:

Have you guys seen the National Geographic's Bible Week Episodes?
"Knights Templar, is it real or a myth?"

I noted that Freemasonry and Demolays in particular were highlighted in the story.

If you are a Mason or a DeMolay or somebody in association, how would you feel after seeing it?
Proud of its rich history?, Did the documentary give justice or injustice to the order?

If you are not, what would you think then of freemasons and demolays. Keepers of the Holy Grail? Guardians of the royalty?

Personally, I like the documentary. super informative and very well supported.

My apology, I maybe OT. cheers, no fighting.

    Ride on people.

As what I've learned the last high ranking member of the Knights Templar to be executed by the Roman Catholic Church was Jacques De Molay.Â* Maybe he was the basis of the formation of the group Order of DeMolay.Â* The Knights Templars invented the first banking system in the world.Â* The founder of the Illuminati used the idea of the banking system inorder to take control of the country who borrows money from it.

The Illuminati was hidden the reason why the image of the FreeMasons was tainted badly.

I don't believe that if you are a member of the FreeMasons, Order of Demolay, Order of Jobs Daughter and all other groups in line with the Masons that you are AntiChrist. Maybe just some of its members. Just like in the Roman Catholic Religion, some members are also antichrist but just hiding in desguise.

But if in the future, if ever your organization will create chaos and disorder in the world, even if there are lots of freemasons scattered around the planet... rest assured I will be one of those men who will kick all of your butts and balls!!!

    We are all watching you....
Freemason exist in this planet for a century...without even touching your butt...wala man mi gu buhat sa kalibutan oist...

    MAGPAKA HERO KA BAI?

basin mo balik ra na sa nimo imong gi sulti bai...
Hehehehe.. Like I said, I hope ok jud ang inyo organization and walay binoang, and what people say about your group is just rumors and speculations... the world needs good men and women. Then there's no reason to argue man pod unlike other posters of this thread.. It's the same as we argue with the leftists and NPA here in our country, while their leaders abroad are just laughing and living in a luxurious life...

I'm not saying that it's the same as with your group.. but you can't deny the fact that you don't really know what your leaders abroad are doing, and what are their plans and agenda...

So still, to cut this short.. I do hope ok jud ang inyo organization and it's for the betterment of the world.. because if after many years from now mo kalit lang ug U-turn inyo organization... In that unfortunate future, no one in this world will survive.. not me, not even you and your group bcoz we will be slashing each other's throat...

remember... even if there are lots of Freemasons in the world, not EVERYONE is a mason, and definitely the MAJORITY of the world's population is not a FREEMASON.... daghan mi pwede magpakahero....

    We are all watching you...Â*

Peace pre... I hope dili na mo abot sa ing ana nga situation... kapoy kaau nang War bay, dili ta maka negosyo ana unya nalingaw na rba ko sa ako peaceful life ron unlike before.... hehehehe

A lot a factors can be attibuted to this, here's one:

While DeMolays are not Masons it also teaches members to be faithful to his responsibilities to God, his Country, his fellow man, his family and himself.

During acceptance to the Order, the Chaplain delivers some verbal piece focusing specifically on "filial love and duty". I think that is why blackwidow highlighted "..mother's are present.." and it is at this point that the newly accepted members and even guests becomes emotional and shed tears of joy. Another thing is, maybe because the acceptance is done in the most solemn manner that it makes your hair stand up.

Note: A Chaplin is not a priest of some sorts and just a DeMolay designated to lead religious activities of the chapter. Any Demolay can be one if elected, just a title. Just like any organization designates a member to lead a prayer during meetings or events.

Here is an interesting fact on DeMolays that I ran accross:Â* http://www.demolay.org/history/facts/onehundred.shtml

now this is getting more interesting dude ..when you say "solemn", what specifically are they doing? or let's say, what are they practicing? [i.e PRAYING, sermon,..etc]

i just wanna get to the hind end on the Principles of Freemasonry and the underlying METHODOLOGIES of this principles..afterall this is the sole purpose of the topic right? =)

    @ tolstoi:
You asked why "makahilak" so I thought I can give you an honest answer based on some account.

Neeways, simply put, solemnity is true in any important event. Say, "graduation". the class valedictorian delivers his valedictory address. Sometimes it touches you and makes people emotional. People even cries watching movies if it moves them. That's what I meant. Nothing unusual or extraordinary about the event itself.

I just related the account to the very first post in this thread under Masonic Principles under TRUTH "...to be faithful to his family and himself." and during this event or acceptance what the Chaplin focuses on is filial love and duty. That is instilliing a sense of duty to their parents/children.

    peace man
