i've already seen (and loved) the movie from a pirated dvd way before showing date but i have this peculiarity of watching the movie version of a pirated dvd that i've watched.

this turned out to be a big mistake!

ayala center cinema made a lot of cuts (some of which are vital to the film) that people who has been there for the first time will have a hard time undestanding (and to an extent liking) the movie...

anyway, this is a very good, entertaining and inventive film adaptation of a graphic novel by frank miller (who co-directed this movie with robert rodriguez; guest director quentin tarantino)...

full of wonderful A-list actors (brazen guys and hot babes), action, interesting dialogues, plotlines and special effects.

9.5/10

this is a must-see movie but please watch this on dvd (if you want to enjoy this cinema nouveau-esque type of film!)
