Mitsubishi Montero v.s Toyota Fortuner

2007 Fortuner 4x4 owner here.. So far, no complaints ko sa amu unit. Regarding sa space, mas daku-an ko sa Fort compared to Montero. My brother's bro-in-law and our contractor, both owned a montero sport, agreed na mas daku-an sila sa space sa Fort than their montero's.

In terms of ride comfort, so far wala'y problema. If 3 or 4 passengers, comfy kaayu siya coz its built as a people carrier. If driver and 1 passenger lang, its a bit bumpy but its tolerable naman. Handling and grip, mas ganahan ko sa fort compared sa montero.

My advice to other Fort owners, ilisi inyu hangin sa ligid to Nitrogen.. I changed mine yesterday and i noticed a big difference sa grip and ride comfort. Sa FC niya, ako pa test if naa ba significant changes..

yes, bro.. significant kaayu ang changes sa ride comfort pag replace nako sa nitrogen.. abi gani nako binuang mana ang nitrogen ang ihangin.. pero once pag suway nako, lahi na gyud. karun, ang akong love sa Fort kay ni 100% na.. Used to be 80% nalang.. hehehehe

im planning to buy fortuner but havent contacted any agent yet.
im concerned about the stocks issue as i dont want to wait for long to get mine
if ever, anybody knows how long the queue for a say, black fortuner?

im thinking if its that so long a wait to get one, i might end up with a montero.

Montero nindot lang cya kng ikaw ra isa mag sakay and with in the city lang..
If you notice, gamay kaayo ang foam sa ilang seats, then cramp kaayo ang interior space.
bati cya pang long drive ky dli kaayo nindot og comfort ang seats.
and also, I noticed nag test drive mi og Montero, kng high speed ka nya mag instant left and right (chicane) grabeh ang tuya.. probably subra ra ka homok ang suspension.

one time nag ilis mi og tire sa montero, tanan butang sa luyu amo pa gi tang2 ky ang tools na gamiton para pa drop down sa seats ma sangit sa 3rd row seats. so amo pa hiposon ang 3rd row seat, mao amo gi panaog ang tanan butang sa luyu. hasol na noon.. daghan na kaayo nag latag na butang sa road.

mga 7-8 mi kbook nanakay, ang Montero ni yaka.. na lowered ang sakyanan.. iyang suspension is not design to carry. nangagi mi og mga libaong, mga deep holes, nag sangad2 ang sakyanan...

although spage age looking ang montero, pero dli cya design to be an SUV...

Montero has a sudden acceleration problem that has caused many serious injuries and millions in damages. Do a search here in istorya and elsewhere in the Internet for more info. It's just not worth the risk to me so I will not buy a Montero until Mitsubishi admits the current Monteros problem and corrects it. Just my honest 2 cents worth......
