    >implying countries don't incur debts after industrialization.

It is natural for countries to owe large sums of money after building infrastructures and gearing for an industrialized platform. The same way South Korea and Taiwan owed money after their development, they managed to pay it off, because over time industrialization in their country began to bear fruit. The difference between these countries and ours is that the following administration, deciding to bend itself over for the sentiment at the time, indiscriminately canceled the majority of the programs that were initiated by Marcos. This was stupid because, If you prematurely close off projects and programs, then they will never pay itself off. Simply put it's like putting your money in a piggy bank then destroying the piggy bank and its contents.

Now it would have also been fine if Cory canceled all of Marcos' programs just as long as she at least made the attempt to repudiate the debt the country owed. After all, it was general knowledge that the country went through a tyrannical regime. She had a legitimate reason to repudiate the debt.

Lahi sa una, kay once against ka ni Macoy, pwede ka ma-tag as Commie supporter. Although this is not a direct order from the president, but these vigilante groups are funded by the Central Intelligence Agency- main motive is DATA gathering.

    OOps, murag classified na....

I would rather have Marcos rule the country for 200 years rather than have Aquilino Pimentel Sr. as our President for 1 year. This guy is just pure catastrophy.
