its a blood infection... usual medication ihatag kay doxycycline.
ive had dogs sa una nga na erlichia pod kay natakdan sa ako napalit nga beagle from dgte.
thats why from then on, i see to it that i treat all my dogs regularly, even if i dont see anything

negative cya for erlichia... amo ra gi admit. sa vet animale sa punta. ok ra ba to cla dra? cge lng ghapon cya suka with blood na. ahuhu. now gi lab pa iya blood for liver or kodney... wla pa namo gi balhin og vet. 24hrs pmn cya ddto.

dili xa mo eat, den iya eyes kay yellowish, unya iyang stool naay red2x..i dont know if it's blood.. gikan cya gi admit sa usa ka veterenary clinic.. pero wala mi ka uyon sa ilang service so amo gkuha.. grabeh sad kaau cla ka mahal.. so unsa ako angay buhaton?! kinsa nay nkaexperience nnyo in.ani sa inyo mga dogs?! asa nindot na VET kanang dili mngwartahay ug maka save sa ako puppy?!

Hala bro sa asa ni nga vet? I- private msg lang daw nako....
Wala ko ka experience ana sa ako dogs bro. Akong vet nga na adto-an kay mahal gyud ila gasto sa pag treat sa dog pero pwerabuyag man sad naka recover man sad ako mga dogs gikan sa critical nila nga conditions. Thanks to them.

you cant be sure nga 1-3 lang gyud ang present nga kuto sis...
if naa jud ka nakit-an, its safer to assume nga anam2x jud ang kuto sa imu dog;
so the best thing to do is to treat your dog with anti-tick & flea dayon to avert
bigger problem later on like erlichia etc.

I totally agree bro. Prevention is the key. One tick lang gani ma kita, manifestation na na nga possible gyud anam2x na ang presence sa ticks. grabe I can still remember the sickness my shipoo had to endure. last year she was diagnosed with Ehrlichiosis, she was so weak and worried I might lose her. took her to Mactan Dog Clinic (operated by CVD), spent around 3,000 for several lab tests and doctor's fee etc, and another 3,000 for medication. dugay kaayo siya na ayo, basta maintain lang take sa tambal. I was even lucky, she's negative in heartworm, liver/kidney infection ba to and other illnesses. had she got those illnesses, ma double pa gyud akong gasto. i'm just happy she survived, she's now healthier than ever. but I was told na mubalik daw to ang sickness after 6 months, I just wish dili na mu balik, it's been a year naman pud.

regarding sa vet clinic where I rushed my dog, comment lang nako is dako akong na gasto didto. maybe daku lang gyud gasto anang sakita. it's the nearest to our house man pud so I never got the chance to try other vet clinics for comparison. despite the cost, ang importante lang kay na save akong dog.

there's another clinic in our area, Claws and Paws (Lapu-lapu City). it's not as "fancy" as CVD's but I heard a lot of good feedback on how Dr. Iris handle the patients.
