I hope they will stop judging the FILIPINO DOCTORS right away.................I think it is time for DOCTORS ASSOCIATION in the PHILIPPINES to do damage control. PR is the most effective way to control damage.

duh... of course it's not all about the medical schools, I've already expounded on that in my previous posts. besides, that line came about because of DH and the outrage it received among the Filipino medical community. the point I'm stressing is: are you always there to tell those readers what you just did in your post? probably not. that's why they only believe in what they read (news) and see (YouTube video). I hate to say it but that's how it is in the real world, people read and tend to believe what has been written. on a personal note, do you research extensively what you read on the paper always? I don't think so. do you check the background of the people mentioned in the news? NO. that's the job of those who work with the news organization. right?

^ please point out to me in all the local and international news that came out regarding this issue if any of those reasons you enumerated above were mentioned, even one bit? NOTHING RIGHT? double check MSN, CNN, Yahoo, SunStar, PDI or what have you if any of the explanations you did made it in the final cut? STILL NOTHING THERE?

BRO!  it's only one incident.  it doesnt speak for the entire med profession here.  kung ikaw maglagaw sa imong kinabuhi, apilon diay nimo imong asawa? imong pamilya? imong anaK? swerte gud nimo! basin ikaw wa kay kaugmaon, sobra ra ka kasensitive nga ang issue sa uban i apil nimo sa imong kaugalingon!

im really sorry for what happened sa sotto but im gonna make sure it wont affect me.  i would still provide the utmost service to my patients even it happens again (god forbids).  reputation? yes, it matters but it matters more if this chickens you and let other people downgrade you just by mentioning this video, in the end you put your OWN repuatation at stake.
