chinese people, usually are into different kinds of business...
People seem to be forgetting that these Chinese people everyone is talking about are Filipino. Chinese heritage, Chinese values, Chinese looks, etc ... but still Filipino. Everyone seems to speak of them like they are outsiders when they are as Filipino as you, me, him, and her. Think of it this way ... how many African Americans you think would say they were African? I doubt you'd find very many. Voice your opinions with the knowledge that they are mere opinions.
well, it is the Chinese heritage i was really curious about. it's just easy to address them as "Chinese people" than refer to them as people with Chinese heritage.
but sometimes, i feel, that the people of Chinese heritage here in the Philippines are somehow just living here and not really adapting to the place. i mean, it's like they're just here for business of some sort but never really consider the idea that they soon will be or in the process of being Filipino.
