Why should I have to? I never said Rodriguez deserves the award more, I said Tomas didn't win, Rodriguez did. You're the one who was insisting Tomas deserves it more, so I asked you why you think so.
You then posted some drivel from a biased website about Tomas. You said he needed to "excel in the business world" to be a good manager for Cebu. Well, did Tomas excel? The website claims Tomas was a VP in some company in the US before he came to Cebu. Then how come he had to live with his sister until she kicked him out after they had some argument? What kind of Mickey-mouse company was he VP of, that he couldn't afford his own house?
When he preferred to live with his sister, does that mean he can't afford a house?..whatever the reason behind the issue was something TOMAS or someone from his family can only answer and seems it was a personal matter already..now, there was this news item that Chief Justice Hilario Davide prefers to ride a taxi cab on his way to work, does that mean he can't AFFORD a car?
Well, did Tomas excel?
you are always insisting that TOMAS did not excel well because the achievements i had posted comes from a bias site..if you are really doubtful about the CREDIBILITY of that site then why don't yu disprove every write-ups/claims found on that article..like, TOMAS was not ever the VP of Seros Inc, TOMAS did not won the TOYM award, TOMAS was not the 2002 Outstanding mayor of the Phil..etc..etc..
Also remember that incident where he kicked the BBQ vendor? Some "outstanding mayor" indeed you have there.
did he kicked the vendor with no apparent reason at all?
Again, no one has to prove Mayor Rodriguez deserves the award more than Tomas. Mayor Rodriguez won the award, he deserves congratulations, not comparisons with some hardheaded, arrogant, drunkard-with-a-huge-potbelly mayor.
well KUDOS to mayor Rodriguez for putting the Phil. in the world map!...i was only asking on the previous post why TOMAS was not even included in the list of candidates, when what he did to Cebu city was more commendable than what Rodriguez did to Pampanga...and when talking about profiles, Osmena excels better than Rodriguez..
maybe you only have gutted feelings toward TOMAS for being prejudice toward him..or a Garcia supporter perhaps?
