How true is it that the late congressman was suspected of ordering the beheading of our soldiers in Basilan?

“I have to adjust to the world around me. I don’t want people to look at me as a Muslim. I want them to look at me as governor of both Christians and Muslims,” he says. “It’s a sacrifice, but someday, I will return to my being a Muslim when the problems of Basilan are solved.”

“When there will be enough jobs, people here will realize that it is better to go to school or work than clean their guns the whole day,” a reflective Akbar says.

It will be time then to go back to the mosques and madaris.

Why they didn't ambush him outside and spare the structure from damage? Well, that's how terrorists work. They don't spare anyone from damage. They strike anywhere they want and whenever they want.
Your statement is contradicting. You said Akbar was the target yet you maintain its a terrorist act. Its either the attack was premiditated to one person or it was at random. When you say Akbar is the target then the attackers could have taken him out alone.

Now when you say its terrorism and its it is designed to hurt anyone, then the Akbar target theory should be discounted. These two cannot go hand in hand.

I believe Akbar is just a scapegoat. My theory is that everytime a high profile issue is scheduled to be tackled in either house of Congress, an incident like this happens. Take for example the Glorietta bombing incident. It happened during the peak of the Senate investigation of the NBN/ZTE broadband deal. A day after the Batasan bombing, it was the scheduled of the Senate investigation on the giving of cash gifts in Malacanang. There is now a pattern. These bombings are meant to defuse public attention on the real issue of the day which is corruption and wrongdoings of the government.

And I would like to congratulate those responsible that they succeeded again in taking away the people's attention on more pressing issues. My hats off. Only that innocent lives are shed. This is not amusing anymore. This senseless, dastardly acts meant to sow terror and confusion.
