    the reason why Globe and Smart wont join the unlimited 24/7 fray is bcoz they want to provide quality service to its subscriber..they know that their facility can't handle all the incoming traffic when all of their subscriber goes unlimited..

    it's a very nice initiative for SUN to offer such service to it's subscriber but they should improve their facilities first before introducing it to the public.

    i come to think that SUN only made a MARKETING gimmick offering a 24/7 unlimited calls to rival their bigger competitors SANS good customer service..

Its not impossible to do unlimited calls... So who is not investing on equipment SUN? SMART? or GLOBE?

    You don't call it marketing gimik

    you call it strategy

    poach as much subscribers as you can from Globe and Smart

    so from bills of more than 15,000 a month from Globe or Smart
    its now down to 5,000 a month..... The savings are enormous....


    Let us put it this way

    you buy a ticket for a boat

    you buy third class ticket because its the cheapest, you don't get meals, no aircon, the comfort room stinks, the beds are hard and small

    you buy tourist class ticket, you get aircon, the comfort room smells better, the beds are bigger and softer, but you share the whole place with lots of people

    you buy a cabin, you get aircon, your own cr, you have TV, you have bigger beds, you get meals served


    So if you look at it why do people buy third class tickets

    they know its next to the cargo hold but they know its cheap and you will still get to your destination

    that is why with SUN you may have to dial 5 - 10 times but you can still make the call.....

    As i said if there is no urgency in your call you will be okay with SUN

    its about CATERING to the needs of the market.... The market wants unlimited calls and they also accept the service will be quite annoying. but there is no charge on how many calls you make.....

    i understand that sun needs to rake or steal subscribers from the veteran big players but the big question is can they keep their new subscribers?Â* could this probably the reason why they are holding us hostage?

    the bottomline is they should NOT make their postpaid subscribers suffer regardless of what.

    I agree! That's why we started the petition. Complaining to Sun's call center won't help at all. They will do NEXT TO NOTHING except take down your name and pretend they care.

    The petition is just one small way of lighting a fire under their rear-ends. If it gets hot enough, MAYBE they will do something.

    Its all about Market Strategy......

    As I said

    You knew they were newbies.

    Being newbies they will do anything to gain more subscribers. They will be aggresive in their marketing.

    So with that in mind you should have been more conservative and stick to the establish players...

    If your hate sun then, sign-up so they'll improve.
    If you love Sun then sign-up ghapon so you'll love sun even more.

    btw, i've stopped using sun kay gisogot na man kos akong gipanguyaban, hehehe.. na convince nako cya later on to use globe nlang kay gkapoy nakog dala dala duha ka phone. timing pud nga naay unltd ang globe recently.

    Obviously Globe and SMART comms are way above sun cellular in terms of technology and capability. But guys lets face it these two giants didnt reach this status overnight. It takes time and millions even billions i guess for improvement mao na magdawat jud sila ug subscribers because they also need the money for operational expense. Just like globe and smart sauna when they were still starting, kulang pa ang cellsites and technology, daghan mansad kaau problems but what? dawat gihapon na sila ug subscribers para makakwarta AND naa panggasto for expansion and eventually makaAcoomodate ug bigger subscriber base.

    you know what? i was one of sun's pioneer subscribers. everyday ko tawag sa hotline because of complaints. later on i realize, gikapoy kapoy ra nako akong self ug reklamo. switch na lang ko ug other network.

    petitioning will not help it improve. BESIDES you have choice to SWITCH.

    ....ows..ows...pretty luck on me because i never been a sun cellular subscriber but I think SMART people are using GLOBE no matter how many times you TALK and TEXT under the heat of SUN but still I prefer it because now Im an ADDICT too because how the way they TOUCH my life....he.he.he.he.he.he.he
