What makes a FRUSTRATED musician????

One of the things that makes a frustrated musician, is when he/she thinks of an idea that is way ahead of their time but unfortunately his/her mates does not see the beauty of this idea - so they do not agree on utilizing this specific idea. Sadly, after how many months/years that same idea becomes sort of a "standard" among other musicians. They should have been the pioneers if they had applied it to their music earlier.

hmmm maka relate man sad ta ani... frustrated man guro ko hehehehe... frustrated musician? its when u feel that all of ur ex bandmates are not into music and have sell their instruments and ur still
into it... investing time and money for music.. hahahaha... being into music or in a band is just same as in a love relationship, like lookin for ur soulmate... i think ive read this qoute in a guitar player magazine "its not how good you are, its all about finding the right people to do it with" PEACE!

Another thing that makes a frustrated musician is the lack of support from people. There are tons of great talents, sadly the majority that do get a shot are those with connections. Ug kanang mga tao na magsige ug ingon na suporter sila sa musician are ALL TALK - same goes to radio stations.

fan kuno: Bai idol kaayo tamo, suporta jud ko ninyo
musician: Palit nya CD/merch namo bai
fan kuno: Libre nalang na bai
musician: Dili lage pwede bai kay dako pod amo gasto sa recording
fan kuno: Aw, pahangyoa nalang ta bai

FYI sa mga "FANS KUNO":
Let's say Php450 per hour ang average gasto sa recording. If mag-record ang musician ug EP, example lang na 10k ilang nagasto. Then gasto pa magpa-press sa CD, let's say Php50 per CD ang gasto. Unya ibaligya nila ug Php100/150 ra. Do the math, sa tanaw ninyo makabawi daun ang musician?

radio station: Oi, send mo mga demos ninyo kay atong i-play
Musician nag-send sa ilang demo.
Ang perme ipa-play sa radio station kay mga musicians na daghan nag exposure (kanang naa na gani gihapon sa regular playlists).
Unya kusug kaayo mang-angkon na musuport kuno silag local acts

- familiar noh? a common scene that can be witnessed even today

Fortunately sa karon panahon naa nay mga "gamay" na changes, thanks to the internet and other useful and easy means to distribute and spread the music of underrated musicians.

we'll i had a band before (high school days) and i'm pretty quite sure that we don't sound like them
we all quitted right after highschool because we have our own responsibilities, or we were just damn lazy to pick up our musical instruments, sold my bass guitar for a 350d camera, our guitarist and vocalist got addicted to this rf online game, our drummer got addicted to his girlfriend and our lead guitarist welll ughhm... haven't heard of him since 2nd year college.

anyhoo we were covering mxpx, nofx and slickshoes at that time and before any gig would come whether small or big we would practice day to day, para dile ma yabo.

ngano pugson man og tukar ang dile kaya? thats the first thing that popped into my head when i heard them play.
