Do you like SLEEK phones?

Some other phones are more sleek, yes... but that doesn't mean that the iPhone isn't sleek. Forget about the hype... we're not talking about the HYPE... the HYPE has passed. The phone's been out for a few months now. We are talking about the sleekness of the phone here.

What is your own definition of "SLEEK"? Somehow being streamlined and smooth isn't enough for you.

i agree smoothness is one of the it.. but like ive said bai.. we all have our own definition of 'sleek'.. and smoothness is just one of the many things i consider.. naa pay mga lain things to make me say sleek jud cya overall..
iphone is still a much hype sa atoa.. since not most people have it paman.. they have to try it and take it on their own to say if its sleek or not...

peace bro.. im not in a war path to bash all iphone lovers here.. just me lang and my thoughts on the word 'sleek' and what phones i consider to be more sleek than others..

I'm just judging by the definition of the word "sleek" .. and I think iPhones fits the description. Agreed naa pay mas sleek nga phones around. Ang mga pictures gipang post sa first page, nindot kaayo.. murag aerodynamic (mga gipang post ni WEEZUR). But I can't say about those things kay wa gyud koy hibaw-an about different phones and models. I'm not very particular about phones... wala gyud ko kabalo sa mga model sa akong mga phones nga na agi-an sa una and I've had phones since the mid 90's ... them large analogs from Motorola that won't fit in your pocket, naa ko ato.

Great thing about iPhone's shape and form is that it's very smooth and slim .. it slides down your pocket like butter (given you're not using protective cases which I sometimes do). Dili sab siya bulky inig linkod nimo, even with tight jeans. And ang size nya sakto ra gyud sa mga kamot (if you're not using a headset) dili sobra ka gamay, dili sab dako.

iphone is NOT comparable to ferrari's, lamborghinis, maseratis, fiats and alfa romeos, bear in mind that this is apple's first entry to the cellphone market.. those brands ive quoted above are way light years already when it comes to durability and user satisfaction and product excellences..

the iphone is still in its infancy...

You know what happen when a tractor manufacturer named Ferruccio do when He did not like the cars Ferrari made? He made his own & He was 34 years behind Ferrari!!!!!
Thats what Steve Jobs is doing to the cell phone industry. And the cell phone business still in its infancy.

i could never understand cupertino lovers here much as redmond huggers as well.. both of them seems to be still distant cuzins yet their at distant odds w/ each other..

steve job is not a prophesied savior much as bill gates is not jesus christ in the pc world OS....and Jobs didnt turn the cell industry overnight into a tech craze maze... it was going far well even before he entered the cellphone business arena...

i beg to disagree that cellphone industry is still in its infancy.. it had been leaping by bounds already.. long was the fact that we only enjoyed 1G, then it move to 2G and now 3G (offered by most cellphone makers), now we have HSDPA, EDGE, GPRS, VOIP and WIFIs. over most of our cellphones.. and you think the cell phone industry is still in it's infancy.. dude where were you thru all this years then..huh??

Where was the cell phone business 30 years ago? when was the cell phone explosion in the Philippines started? I am talking about GSM phones? Compare that to TV, Radio, Watches, CARS? It barely cross the first generation of people using it. The fact is Apple made a product that blow everyone in the market & now are franticly catching up look up their concept phones. The same as that Ferruccio guy did in 1963.
Just what we need something to inject fresh new ideas in an industry where service contracts a like signing your life away. This is not a Apple iphone lover that is replying i am a fan of of Good design. open up to the world of good Design.

are we still talking about sleekness here? Agreed that the iPhone is not the be all and end all off all phones but it is what it is right now... Simply a phone that serves its purpose. What do you want from a phone anyway, to wash your laundry?

Let's talk about the sleekness and not sourgrape about the iPhone.
