For big companies, they can request such thing for them (SSS) to personally go to your office and have everything process just in one day without wasting your time lining up as early as 5AM and finish everything in the late afternoon.. However, if you would just go by yourself and process your SSS ID, here are the things you need to remember...

1. Wakeup early as possible - People from different part of cebu line-up everyday just to get and process their SSS ID. Even as early 5:00AM, you'll see few of them waiting.
2. SSS will giveout 100 priority numbers and ONLY 100 persons will be accomodated for that day. (I'm not sure right now, how many priority numbers they're giving out everyday).
3. Bring a Photocopy of you Birth Certificate and 2 valid ID's. I would suggest, if you can bring the original copy of your Birth Certificate much better, coz sometimes (out of the blue) they gonna ask for it (I Dont know why).
4. Make sure that you bring candies. YOu know, just to ease boredom while waiting..
5. Make sure to keep-safe your wallet and other valuable things inside your bag. You'll be meeting different people with different attitudes (its a public place), just a precaution.
6. BE and GET ready - Make sure that you dont have any other "LAKAW" on that day.. coz.. it'll really take sometime to complete the process.. It's a government agency... people there arent aware that you also have other things to do. As in, they DONT REALLY CARE... ( SOME government agency personnel = They work like a turtle ).
8. After completing the process, keep safe the CLAIM SLIP/STUB. You can use that stub in claiming your sss benefits with the abscense of your SSS ID.
9. BEFORE, the SSS ID will be sent to your address or to the company after 3 months, but now, I guess, it'll take a year or two.

Dili ba diay pwd makapareserve ug timeslot inyo company para paglukat sa inyo SSS ID? Kay sa akong SSS ID sa pagkuha namo, giinform raman mi sa amo admin about sa schedule namo sa among pagpa ID. Gi reserve ra nila ang schedule para namo. Gipaadto rami sa SSS ID after lunch, then dritso nami take picture for ID. Then i send ra sa amo ang ID after ato.

Same pud diri sa ako company. Ang HR nagpa-reserve ug timeslot para lukat and apply for ID. Diretso ra lagi mi ato wala na linya2. Murag 5 minutes ra gud to pag-apply namo ug ID.

dli man lisod magkuha ug SSS, musayu lng gyud. ayaw lng gud pagtapulan. antos lng gud. just bring the requirments needed gyud para dli masayang imung pag adto ug sayu.

I got my photo taken sa Makati SSS Office, dali ra jud sa Manila. After a month nakuha ang nako ang ID. Ambot ba diri kadugay lagi no. Maski pagkuha sa NBI Clearance ug NSO docs kinahanglan mosayo.

Sakto si jrconde, antus lang jud. Unsaon man gud ning sistema sa atong gobyerno. If moadto ka SSS bro pagdala nalang sa imo E-1 Form, valid ID's. Para tsur na jud.

I think getting sss no. & sss ID are different na karon...ang pagkuha nmo ug sss no. maoy taas kaayo ug linya mao knanglan jud as early as possible naa na ka didto para makakuha kag priority number...after naa na kay number knanglan pa kag contribution nga at least 3 months para ka maka pa picture for ur SSS I.D...naa ghapon na cyay priority no. ang pag pa picture pero di na jud pareha kadaghan sa pagkuha ug SSS no. ...mao na akong nahibaw-an...ahehehe

makalagot ang SSS ui! kung kanus.a ko ni sayo ug adto mao sad maguba ilang system.. sa kataas sa gipang linya sa mga tao, giingnan lang mi sa guard pag amo nang turn na guba daw ila computer nya d maka pa ID.. ahak!

Sa akoa lang na obserbaran, kanang magpa ID KA! you have to line-up as early as 6:00AM or even 5:00AM para lang maka pa ID... Hinay ang processing, the in-charge is very lousy..! Come on! why is that? Nothing's change! Maski unsaun pag usab set-up sa ilang office, basta ang mga tao mismo same attitude ra gihapon or walay klarong training or "No sense of URGENCY", dli gihapon na mausab ang system dha.

Good thing, They sent my ID to my address after 3months, but that was year 2004. Karon daw, it'll take a year or two. Ohh! too bad!

sus, bag-o lang jud tawn ko niadto waited for 4 hours just to wait for my number to be called... kapuya ingnon dayn ka balik lang after 3 days... paeta jud oi makawala gana..

hmmm.. akong experience last June 2008, did2 nako 5am... dn ika 30 ko nga naglinya... hastang kapuya paabot.. pero cge lng... pag-abot sa sulod pwerting puno-a jd tawn... samot kadugay kay ang nag operate sa machine para mo capture sa imong finger print and mo take og picture isa ra kabuok... imagina unsa kadugay.... samot pajud pagkabalo nako nga after 6 mos. pa madeliver ang I.D.... tnuod jd... kay last week pa gihatod akong I.D.
