mga bro, be careful sa speed sa inyo pci bus... i lost all my data and had to re-install _everything_ from scratch after a misadventure with pci bus speed tweaking... some hdds are not happy with a pci bus running out of spec... my seagate 20gb wasn't too happy with the new pci bus speed and decided to take matters into its own. ok ra man ang mag-reinstall sa tanan... ang sayang kaayo kay ang data nako which i had since i had the p2-based pc. ga-mahay-mahay lang ko...

its not much use overclocking entire pci bus kay there are a lot of cards that cannot operate beyond 33mhz... mahimo na hinu-on bottleneck sa imong system or source of instabilities and worse, data loss. stick to processor and ram oc-ing. its "safer" c",)

    blade4638:thanks for the info.

its much safer pala to OC a cpu by its multiplier and not by its fsb, unless your sticking to 133/166/200 steppings where agp/pci bus is at default 66/33

    pwede ba overclock mga karaan?

i got a celeron 667 on an asus cuv4x-m, i hav a stock cpu fan (dili pa kaayo uso ang fan2x 3 years ago)

can i still squeeze this one? ive no plans to upgrade unless i can get a p3 1ghz at a 2nd-hand price because id rather buy a new system than change every part on this one

also, pwde ni ma-ilisdan fan akong sparkle fx5200 ?

kuyawan ko overclock2x kay basin masunog kasab-an ko... hehehhe

i suggest you do it one step at a time, .5 sa multiplier, then benchmark every step, try prime95 torture test.of course keep the temp in check via monitoring software such as motherboard monitor...i think you can use this tool with your mobo...
theres no harm in trying unless you make changes in large increments...

ive tried OCng my former pc, an amd k6/2 400 @ 100x4, with my soyo mobo, i was limited to OCng the cpu via the jumpers and DIPswitches as it does not have bios support for software tweaking.everytime i raise my multiplier to 4.5, my system wont boot, even in POST.

this could happen to you,if it does...then sori ka na lang dong.hehehe
