This is quite typical. What I don't understand is why stop at those robbers because of the threats it just makes them bold. It really does not cost that much to have them liquidated. Most of them are good at intimidating but carrying them out is another thing. With mr. X in the right there are many people in the law who will help him.

IMO you can even see cases of where robbers/murderers/hold uppers where dealt with permanently yet there was nothing from the robbers/etc kin. It's all about money. He can afford to hire a lawyer he might as well get some professionals or jackals for a job.

This happened not so long ago. Ato na lang itago sa ngalan na Doctor X ang home owner. He lives in Doņa **** village. One night gi sulod sila ug 3-4 akyat bahay robbers. The robbers were armed and managed to subdue every member of his household. They were immobilized and tied down. They were herded into the sala, after which gi sulod sila sa stock room. Unkown to the robbers, that was where Doctor X kept his M1928 Tommy Gun. After managing to free himself from his restraints, in a fit of rage took his tommy gun from its resting place, made it ready and went out of the stock room... He could hear that the robbers are busy ransacking the masters bedroom so there he went. Upon entering the bedroom he saw two of the robbers, hosed them down with .45cal bullets, he could recall that he saw a third one went in the bathroom so he also sprayed the bathroom are with automatic fire till his 50 round drum went dry wounding the robber who hid in the bath tub. The two died on the spot, the others managed to escape leaving behind a bloody trail.

Aftermath which is the usual family of the slain robbers complained why their husbands/sons have to be killed blah blah.. Doctor X with his excellent lawyer and muchos dineros managed to invoke self defense etc in justifying the use of his Tommy Gun thereby overcame all charges against him.

That was only the beginning, as Doctor X is now receiving death threats as those robbers and their cohorts vowed revenge, this went on for around two years or so... Which prompted him to change his place of dwelling and be more paranoid than he usually is... Kinda like living on the edge, constantly looking over their shoulders and an abrupt lifestyle change too... Change of routine, habits, phones etc...

I'm not saying not to shoot down intruders, as I am very much pro-self defense of my life, limb, family and property. I just want people to contemplate first on one of the possible outcomes if they happen to choose that course of action...

Hope my insights here are helpful to your decision making process...

You don't have to do it yourself. Chances are you are not the only victim of the criminals. Again, delegate it to someone else. The case that was stipulated here is another story.

You have a point bro, but in my case, presko pa ang nahitabo and the alleged suspect has a lot of relatives in the neighborhood. It's easy to say to delegate to someone else, but in reality you have to weigh things, retaliation is imminent. I have a family too. Maybe I change my mind in the next few months and hunt down these crooks
