Should newbies be disallowed to post under buy/sell and pm access?

I was a junior member 2 months ago, then my membership changed back to newbie. Well, I think there are rules to follow, but you should realize that abuse of authority may exist. It exists in any organization. You can place discrimination among members if the judges are fair and square. Posts with no responses in the "buy and sell" section should be deleted after a time line. That may be fair. Or postings in the same forum may have aging requirement. One way to get members to join this community is the chance for people to trade or sell their brand new or used things and also a chance for us to buy or trade goods at cheaper prices compared to buying them outside our forum because of the free privilege which is a lot of help for the economic crisis today. I think we would be persecuting some innocent users out there like myself, who wishes to meet fellow Cebuanos and mingle with them, since there is a connection and that's istorya.

These are just my views and commentaries needs to be respected. That's why we're here.

I agree, I just signed in to istorya coz my friend said there are a lot of good buys here and I am in the market for a car. Its just sad to see that some people abused this site before and in return newbee's like myself see something like this... Im already thinking twice now if I should buy something of this site now since its stated that there are some people that take advantage of buyers... Just sad...

kalouy pud sa mga newbie nga maayo ug nindut ang intention.. pero diretso sila sa buy/sell section... i myself pagstart nako diri, wala toud ko nagstart sa buy/sell, pero pagsulod nako did2... nag cge na noun..newbie paman gyud ko ato...

enough na guro to warning gibutang did2 bout sa buyer ug sellter? asa naman toud to..? morag wala ko kabantay dah..

basta i aware lang gyud pirme ang mga junior , senior ug higher ranks labi na if newbie pa ang magpost sa buy/sell...

i am a definite newbie...and i am staring to get @#$%^@&@& with all the discussions about what a newbie should be allowed / not allowed to do....ultimately i would bow down to the administrators' new guidelines...but please consider many factors....you already had a lot of suggestions....

what i do not like is the holier than thou attitude of some members who have been with istorya for a long time....remember it is not the quantity of posts but the QUALITY that make or break a thread of discussion...

the issue is not about fun,bro. it's about security and integrity.
THere's so much thread crapping nowadays as well as Bogus sellers w/ bogus products.

People need to feel safe in transacting.
my first transaction here was such an experience nga di nako ganhan musalig pa.
transaction to w/ a fellow newbie, but although newbie iyang status, dugay na to xa naka register(2003 pa) so i pressumed na masaligan ra.

and yes, we should not condemn all newbies, but the statistics show most newbies dont read rules and regulations.

we should also take note of those having double accounts.
