31 years oldhow old is garnett?
murag di pani cla ma champion.wa pa sila'y support kaayo sa bench. pierce and allen are prone to injuries pa gyud.
lets hope not...
Because of this move, Green City has been getting a lot of praises and kudos lately. Which got me thinking that this blockbuster trade is actually, overrated. Why? Three superstars on their 30's. Short term wise - excellent move, but how about the future? Questionable. Very Questionable. I can see these three guys playing on their prime for 3-4 more years, but I don't think that during their first two years together, they will get the Title. Nope, I don't think so. They used to be franchise players on their own respective teams and it will take time to change their mindset and their ego. The Green Town's new big three is really going to help this team. It will without a doubt, bring back the glory that used to settle in this city some 20 years ago during the Bird era. But I don't see that coming this season. A lot of adjustments has to be made on their roster and especially with the ego of these three superstars.

KG voices out (about the trade)
“This is probably been the hardest 72 hours I’ve dealt with since I’ve been in the NBA,” said Garnett. “Initially I had no interest in leaving Minnesota. After [Timberwolves owner] Glen Taylor shared his views about the future, they contradicted mine."
“On draft night when Boston traded for Ray Allen, the whole situation changed for me. I didn’t say anything to anyone. But I contemplated. I really tried to be comfortable in seeing myself in a Celtic jersey."
“I thought this was probably my best opportunity of winning a ring.”
"I’m a very passionate player, but the one thing that hurts more than anything is losing," Garnett said. "Knowing that going into a game and knowing that you have a slight chance of winning is difficult. It feels good to have two big guns on the side of me. It feels real good."
"I can’t do young. You need veterans in this league to win." --> Kevin Garnett
It seems pretty clear that KG doesn't want to leave Minnesota. But he's got no other choice, it's the perfect time to leave. He's 31 and no longer part of Minnesota "rebuilding" stage and youthful roster. Probably he was sent away while he still have his high market value, a good move by Minnesota (hopefully). He's a superstar, and deserves to win a ring but haven't won a ring. With Pierce and Allen, it's his best shot at the title since teaming up with Latrell Sprewell and Sam Cassell.
Klaro kaayong naay hinanakit.![]()
