You don't need to search it... Shawn Gold, the former MySpace VP, once said (and he said this in November 2006, I can give the link to watch the video) that Friendster's death occurred in 2005, when it FAILED to jump into the Web 2.0 bandwagon. What's more bothering/humiliating (at least webwise) for us pinoys is that according to Gold, the only reason why Friendster is alive is because of the millions of FILIPINOS and GUAM residents who use it, because HINAY ang internet intawon diri sa Philippines and Guam, and so contented na ang Pinoy and Guam users sa limited features sa friendster and "...that they cannot distinguish between a fast or slow loading internet webpage". Looy intawon ta. When Shawn Gold said that, all the people in the room were laughing, as if they were laughing at all Friendster users in the Philippines.
