I share your sentiments @shearts but practically speaking we are two years more come election time. Would a brand new Philippine constitution happen under the current administration? No, thus I beg to disagree that is one very important thing we should think about.

Regarding this "once it's almost finished, the public, or at least those with common sense, should review the contents before it can be legally implemented", can you tell who are these people with common sense that will review the content?

Lastly, comparing Davao with the rest of cities and provinces in the country having a mindset of the "safer place to live" is absurd. Even news reports showed that criminalities in that city is still existent.

    1. As the saying goes, "kung disidido, naay paagi, kung dili, daghan rason." If only a large number of Pinoys would not only have the common sense to be aware of how important it is to have a new constitution first before we proceed to the next step, but also have the passion & drive to actually push this to happen.

Why do we have to depend if abnoy's admin will do it or not? We, the people have the power. But a lot of us are not completely aware of that power. If they do, then they're just complacent & let things happen as they are, complain about it & not actually do anything at all to solve the issue.

    2. Anybody. What I meant to say on anybody with common sense are those people who care enough to actually give their time to review the proposed constitution before it can be officially implemented.

    3. I never said Davao has no crime rate, but the effect of having such harsh approach & strict rules never fails to assure people. Good enough to give them a very high rank as a liviable city not just the Philippines or even Asia, but the world.

So how can such mindset be absurd when all of us has seen the result?

If it worked for Davao, I see no reason why it shouldn't work with the rest of the country.
