ubuntu is nice to use but not all printers and modem are supported by ubuntu.. but it's just nice to be able to boot w/o linux command line memorization

i use vista ultimate and modified xp sp2. i was planning to try ubunto but i might have to upgrade my hardisk first so i can dual boot.

i have still my old version of ubuntu here right now .. it's version 5.10 live CD .. i like the fonts .. it's pretty neat and cool. It's really good for desktop.

i havent tried it in ubuntu coz im not using ubuntu. I'm using slackware atm. Installed beryl and it's working pretty neat. you can see my desktop here: https://www.istorya.net/forums/index....88851.225.html. I do have an Nvidia card.

yup im using a 6600GT INNO3D whats the difference with the slackware and ubunto? can i use some new release editing software with the slackware like CS3?

FX5xxx ra man gani ako video card. U can read some reviews here http://www.linuxquestions.org/reviews/index.php/cat/2 para ikaw mismo maka spot sa difference between the two. Overwhelming lang kaayo ang rating sa Slackware. hehehe Regarding your new release software .. i havent tried installing yet i only tried photoshop 7. I didnt encounter any problem after the installation.

bro! i already have tried the live CD of ubunto. i was quite amazed with environment very neat and so easy to use much more easier pa xa than xp i wonder how ubunto manage to do an os like that without making money with it. since ni dagan man ang live cd without any issue with my hardware does it mean nga compatible na xa sa ako system? by the way ill gona try the Slackware i hope duna sad xa live CD like ubunto.
